What do you think constitutes a balanced practice?
We have some thoughts on a well-balanced Yoga practice we want to share with you and hope you agree that we try to fulfil these in our classes.
I sometimes go to yoga classes where the focus is on the physical practice and I’ve been to other classes where there is a focus on breathing and the physical asana practice. Often, I feel it’s just what I need but most of the time I feel like something is missing…
At Yogarei, we try to incorporate the following aspects of Yoga for a more holistic session:
- Affirmations (focus, emotive, mindful)
- Visualisation (visual and emotive)
- Breathing (focus and auditory)
- Physical (breath and movement synchronisation)
- Meditation (mindfulness)
